“What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness?”

– John Steinbeck

The end of  summer meant the end of endless play. No more picnics or swimming or traveling vacation. And that meant it was time for school.

Which of course meant that it was time for the first written essay of the year: “What I did on my summer vacation” by Leslie Yerkes. This year, the end of summer — and fall — brings another assignment, “What I did during the Pandemic.”

If you’re ready for your assignment, just play the video below. I hope you enjoy the change of pace. And if you’re willing, send your essay to me and I’ll share the most interesting activities with all of you.
